I've spent the past twelve years developing my unique approach to real estate professionalism as well as a substantial base of satisfied customers. As a full-time, professional Realtor, I have extensive experience representing both buyers and sellers and have been highly successful in "getting the best deal" for my customers in this highly competitive market. My professional approach is based on skills developed over 25 years in high technology project and personnel management. Attributes like responsibility and accountability and specific professional skills like marketing, interpersonal management, negotiation, problem solving and project planning distinguished my management career and now define my approach to the real estate profession.
My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University. I've also completed several Santa Clara University-taught management institutes and company-proprietary leadership institutes. Specific skill training has included interpersonal management, negotiation, problem solving, proposal preparation and effective presentations. I'm an active member of California's second largest real estate board, the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors. I'm also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors, organizations which uphold the highest ethical standards among their members.
Whether working with first time buyers or high-end property sellers, customer satisfaction is my highest priority. Sometimes its the small things like always returning phone calls within minutes, or the unique color feature cards I place in a listing to highlight my customer's home. At other times it can be coordinating and personally overseeing the whole range of property inspections or resolving a contract dispute that threatens to undermine the purchase. Married with three children, I reside in San Jose's East Hills or San Jose Country Club area. I have one grown daughter and twin boys who just graduated from high school and are soon headed off to college. My wife and I enjoy traveling, restoring our circa 1929 Mission Revival style home, walking in the hills and enjoying the great restaurants, museums and cultural activities of the Silicon Valley.
